I'm looking forward to E3 news, not many new games out lately. I've been playing a little Heroes of Newerth. It is a near replica of DoTA with different names of items/heroes/abilities. But why fix what isn't broken? I'm getting better, finding out what heroes I really mesh with. I had a ridiculous game with Pestilence on my first play-through with him. It didn't even make any sense, he is way too easy.
Every now and then me and my buddies meet up at a lan and play it. It's fun as shit, having everyone there to play. The transition from DoTA was surprisingly difficult for me, I can't really recognize all the heroes as easily as I could before. It's just taking time, I play like once a week.
Anyway it's a game worth picking up, it's great if you have an hour to play here and there, always exciting, good teamwork wins games, etc. My type of game. If you have a local lan center that has the game you can get a "Lan.*name*" tag and you can use it at home too, no need to even buy the game. So even if lan's aren't your thing, thats worth it. ERR update -- NVM, I literally played a game last night just fine, but logged on today and it's wanting me to pay up
